My hair can be hard to handle sometimes, actually.. I can be pretty hard to handle at times too, but that’s another post for another day. On a casual day when I don’t want to seem as if 'I just woke up like this’ but not how Queen Bey talks about waking up cute and flawless, I mean the literal term, just woke up and hair is flying around; a total mess, my go-to is a hat. Baseball hats are fun and really trendy right now so it’s a win-win. The hat that you’ve seen on my SnapChat, Instagram and now this blog post is my new favorite accessory for everything I wear. I try to be open minded, in all aspects of life but especially my wardrobe choices. This look could have easily been a nice outfit for the evening being I have heels and a lace-y bra showing, but since I decided to wear it during the day I went with my mane tamer, a hat to make the look a bit more casual.
I couldn't be more into 'boyfriend' anything. I literally love all things oversized & manly. Maybe it's because I enjoy the challenge of adding femininity to my 'boyfriend' looks. When given the option of picking a few items from ShopTobi, I knew I needed this 'boyfriend shirt dress' it's delicate enough that I only....
The girliest of girlies is happening right now! I love this little floral number I have on and it’s the perfect date night / Valentines look. Not only does it give you major thigh with the high slit but it really brings in your waist with its wrap around style top. It’s very complimenting on any body type. I didn’t have to style this look much, any neutral heel would work. I chose a bit edgier heel just because I didn’t want to be too girly being I wore it during the day time. Strappy heels would really pull this look together for an evening date night. The floral pattern screams Valentine’s day which is why I’m choosing to wear it now. Tis’ the season.
Let me start off with saying you guys have to check out this new store in the 1Hotel in Miami Beach called Violet & Grace, my whole look is from there and you can't image the amount of amazing pieces they have. Everything from Hudson, LNA, to Cecilia.
Off the shoulders in definitely trending again, I remember being in middle school and wearing off the shoulder sweaters and such, I’m happy to see it make its way back around. I think the reason I love this trend is because I love a nice collar bone. Lol sounds silly, doesn’t it? But really I do. Off the shoulder looks really compliment and extenuate a girl’s collar bone. This look was simple and easy and something you could wear anywhere, day or night. It’s classic, simple and a hint of sexy.
My love for anything “boyfriend” has been confessed on the blog tons of times before but of course I will continue to show case it in my OOTD looks. I was on the hunt for some Olive green boyfriend pants, of course I looked and looked and couldn’t find them ANYWHERE! So, I decided to look for a fitted pair and just get them a few sizes larger and take the waist in a bit so it would give me the baggy vibe I was looking for but not completely fall off of me due to the fact that its several sizes larger than my actualsize. Luckily I found what I was looking for except they had straps on the side to take in the waist, which totally worked out in my favor, I didn’t even have to take them in for altering! WINNER!
